Support WaterDiam! [fr]
WaterDiam, which won the Franco-American Chamber of Commerce’s Innovation award and the Startup Tour contest in Miami, flies to New York in the next few days for the Grand Finale of the Startup Tour 2018. The French company could already be earning points thanks to your votes!
Created in 2012, in the Haut-Rhin region, the French startup WaterDiam chose Miami as the starting point to extend its business reach in the United States.
What does WaterDiam do?
WaterDiam has developed an innovative technology that “improves water performances by adding immune and healing properties through the use of its patented, synthetic diamond-coated electrodes” says Mr. Anthony Ginter, its President.
Based on scientific research, WaterDiam claims that its “technology could reduce or replace the numerous antibiotics or chemical products used in the agricultural food industry”. The company’s goal is to create water that potentially cures without any chemicals or additives, states Mr. Ginter. The startup’s ambition is to strengthen the immune system and the health of living species with water. After the completion of trials upon several farms in Normandy, WaterDiam recently equipped the first farm in Okeechobee, Florida, to improve the health of its calves.
The company already awarded in Miami
Waterdiam received, in the “Startup” category, the Innovation Award from the French-American Chamber of Commerce in Miami. Thereafter, the company won the Miami’s stage of the competition organized by French Founders, which allows startups to be distinguished in various U.S. cities prior to participating in the U.S. finale. This year, the Grand Finale will take place in New York on the 26th of September.
