Fanny Ben Ami’s visit in Miami [fr]
Fanny Ben Ami was in Miami this week to meet with students at ISCHS and ISPA.
Ms. Ben Ami was this young girl who helped Jewish children flee from the occupied France during World War II.
While in Miami on Feb. 14 and 15, 2017, she exchanged with students and tallked about the movie "Fanny’s journey" based on her story.
Currently on Floridian screens, “Fanny’s Journey” recounts her experience.
Born in Germany in 1930, Fanny Ben Ami currently lives in Israël. She has six children, and she became a painter. Her paintings portraying her journey throughout the war were exhibited in several Israeli museums.
“Fanny’s Journey” is a film directed by Lola Doillon aired in 2016. The film will be shown in these Florida locations starting February 17th, 2017.
