Compensation for Victims of Spoliation
Jewish families who were deprived of their property due to antisemitic legislation during the Occupation in France can submit their requests to the « Commission for the Compensation of Victims of Spoliations » (CIVS)

The mission of this Commission, which was established by decree on September 10, 1999, is to provide information to the victims and their families regarding the possessions of which they were deprived, to help them search for these belongings and to offer reparation, restitution or compensation measures deemed appropriate for each case. Any victim or heir of a victim of material and financial loss is entitled to seek reparations through this Commission.
