In Tallahassee, the Ambassador pays tribute to the Franco-Floridian common past and turns to its future
To strengthen the ties between the State of Florida and France, the
Consul General of Miami Gaël de Maisonneuve and the members of the Floridian Parliament in Tallahassee have agreed to create a French Caucus in Florida modeled after the US Congressional one in Washington D.C.
The Floridian French Caucus will be chaired by Republican Senator Anitere Flores and will be co-chaired by Republican Representative Lake Ray.
History, economy, culture and education, in all those fields Florida and France share a common heritage and great values.
Thanks to the launch of the French caucus and the strong will of American and French leaders, France and Florida writes a new chapter.
"In this regard, we have every reason to be very optmistic" stated Ambassador Delattre.
