Twelve WWII Veterans recognized on March 6th by France in Boynton Beach

One thousand WWII American veterans have been awarded the Legion of Honor in Florida, already. Nevertheless, each ceremony is a unique time where veterans, friends, family members and civil servants of this consulate are deeply moved. Discover here the pictures taken at the latest ceremony on March 6th, 2013 in Boynton Beach.

In Boynton Beach, last March 6th, twelve WWII Veterans received the insignias of “Chevalier dans l’Ordre National de la Légion d’Honneur” or insignias of Knight in the National Order of the Legion of Honor” for having fought alongside France during World War II.

France will never forget their courage!

This ceremony was held in Boynton Beach Bicentennial Park, 400 N Federal Highway, Boynton Beach, FL 33435.
