The exhibition features images of Paris during the 1960’s.
From his early career as a freelance reporter to now, Herschtritt captures the zeitgeist of his era through his choice of political, social, and human subjects. His several bodies of work include slices of Parisian life, views of Africa, and the Berlin Wall.

In addition, Herschtritt’s portraiture captures the atmosphere and bears witness to the artists, intellectuals and politicians of his era.

His body of work, which spans over 50 years, is a study of our humanity.

Leon Herschttitt will be present at the opening reception on March 22nd, and will give a lecture on his work on March 23rd.

Just some days later, a French film festival highlighting the French New Wave will be presented at the museum from April 5 to 18th with such classics as "Breathless", "Belle du Jour" and "Jules et Jim".
