It’s Beaujolais Nouveau time... again!

With the arrival of the Beaujolais Nouveau, as well as the upcoming roundtable discussion on marketing French wines taking place in Miami, celebrations of wines from France resonate all around Florida and in Puerto Rico as well!

Each year, on the third Thursday of November, Beaujolais wine producers release their Beaujolais Nouveau wine and it becomes available for tasting, one minute after midnight. Beaujolais is a small region north of Lyon which has been producing wine since Roman times.

Alliances Françaises, Francophiles Restaurants and institutions all over the world celebrate the arrival of the Beaujolais Nouveau wine every year. In the past 45 years, sales have risen to more than 70 million bottles of this young wine.
