Miami Shores Library opens its doors to Marguerite Defrance

JPEG The oil paintings of Marguerite Defrance, French painter from Brittany living in Aventura, will be presented in the Miami Shores Library until the 9th of November. She welcomes everyone to come and talk about her "outdoors" paintings.

Marguerite Defrance, who studied in l’Ecole des Arts Décoratifs (School of Decorative Arts) in Strasbourg, established herself in Florida in 2008 where she had the opportunity to present her work in a festival organized by the Museum of Arts of Boca Raton and then in another show in Fort Lauderdale last year.

This time, she will unveil her oil paintings in the Miami Shores Village Library. She will highlight her series of paintings called "Paysage de Ciels" (Sky Landscapes) where she works with the outdoor light.

The exposition will end on November 9th 2012.
