France honors twenty-six‭ ‬U.S.‭ ‬veteransBetween both‭ ‬nations‭’‬ national‭ ‬holidays,‭ ‬France thanks twenty-six‭ ‬U.S.‭ ‬veterans.


Between the two national holidays of the 4th and 14th of July, France honors twenty-six U.S. veterans of World War II.

The first ceremony takes place July 10th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. on Boynton Beach during which 26 U.S. veterans will recieve the Legion of Honor. At the second ceremony taking place on the MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, nine Americans will be awarded the highest French distinction.

Ceremony on July 10th, 2012

Ceremony July 12, 2012

• Venue: MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa
• Date: July 12th at 4:00 p.m.
