“French Impressions”, a French photo exhibit in Daytona Beach

The Peabody Auditorium in Daytona Beach, Florida is the venue for a French photo exhibit, “French Impressions”, sponsored by the Sister Cities Association of Volusia County. The exhibit, which can be viewed in the Rose Room of the Peabody, will be available to the community until February 25, 2012.

All photographs in this collection have been taken by members of the Sister Cities Association during their travels to France, and have been donated to the “French Impressions” exhibit. The photographs have been curated by Diane Miller, local photographer and member of Sister Cities as well as Mary McBride, with the Peabody Auditorium. A beautiful collection of note cards using the photographs was made available for purchase.

The opening reception was held on February 10, 2012, attended by many members of the Volusia community, including the representative of the French Consul, Claude Berthoin and his wife.

All of the photographs in this amazing collection are for sale and the community is invited to visit the Peabody before February 25 to enjoy the exhibit and experience the beauty of our sister city, Bayonne, France and surroundings.

All proceeds from the sale of the photographs will support the Sister Cities Association scholarship for students in our community.
