Educative partnership between Martinique and Florida

Mr. André Siganos, principal of the Academy of Martinique, moved to South Florida on December 5 to patronize the signing of a partnership agreement between the Bellevue High School in Fort-de-France and ’International Studies Charter High School’ (ISCH), which includes a French baccalaureate.

By his personal presence, the principal testified at both the importance of the International Studies Program for Education and the desire to open the French departments of the Caribbean to other regional hubs, which is part of Miami .

The partnership agreement signed by the Principal of Bellevue High School in Fort-de-France and the Director of School ISCH’s main objective is to develop school exchanges, and especially to give young graduates of ISCH, the opportunity to be part of the preparatory classes of Bellevue with the opening of a boarding school.

The principal has used his first visit to Florida to meet his counterpart, the superintendent of the Miami Dade County Public Schools Alberto Carvalho, with whom he agreed to work towards an agreement that would allow the exchange of students as teachers in primary and secondary education.

He also visited the Dc. Douglas Wartzok, Provost and Executive Chairman of the Florida International University (FIU).
