French foods, wine and fashion celebrated with company Savour Tradex
E-toile : Viviane Chiffrin, you are the marketing manager of Savour Tradex, a company specializing in distribution and marketing of French products. Could you tell us about its activities?
Viviane Chiffrin : Savour Tradex is actually a company that intended for the distribution, marketing and promotion of French products.
We are dedicated to selling fine foods (chocolate luxury, traditional French products and French Caribbean products), French wine (carefully selected products with the help of our importers), and ready to wear distributed under the brand Extreme Chic.
Extreme Chic brand specializes in both women’s clothing in the French style of mid-range segment (ready to wear and custom) that the traditional women’s clothing from Martinique redesigned up to date.
I am particularly involved in Extreme Chic because I’m in charge of design and project management of the collection, selection of suppliers, the development of the fashion show with the artistic director of the negotiation with different partners.
E-toile : You organize a promotional event on December 16 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. What will your involvement?
VC : The event of December 16 which is held from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Miami Beach Convention Center consists of a fashion show followed by the presentation of our French partners.
Afterwards, guests are invited to attend a wine tasting accompanied by French chocolate, created by a famous martinique chocolatier, who was also recently awarded the number one Chocolate Store in Paris. It combines the subtleties of the best cocoa and with original perfumes and spices of the Caribbean.
The event will conclude with a raffle with our partner, the charity HEARCONGO, beneficiary of some of the duties
E-toile : Florida represents a good market for the export of French products, and especially products of Martinique?
VC : For various reasons, Florida has a real interest in French and Caribbean products.
First, there is a strong Francophone and Francophile community sensitive to French products. The "French touch" is inseparable from quality food products researched and conveys an image of timeless and undeniable fashion.
We also offer spicy flavors that combine French culinary know-how and Caribbean offer original flavors and can pleasantly surprise American, Latin American and European customers located in Florida.
Finally, concerning the textile part, the humid and tropical climate of Martinique is similar to Florida, the clothes offered are welcomed to the local climate due to their comfort and aesthetics.
