Twenty two WWII American veterans were awarded the French Legion of Honor
On June 30, 2011, twenty two WWII American veterans were awarded the French Legion of Honor this morning by Gaël de Maisonneuve, Consul General of France in Miami.
The ceremony, organized with the support of another American veteran, Mr. Tom Kaiser, took place in the Boyton Beach Civic Center, in Boynton Beach, FL.
Ms. Nicole Hirsh, elected Representative to the Assembly of the French citizens abroad participated at this ceremony as well.
