Jean-Michel LeFloc’h, from the world of publishing to the agribusiness: a successful journey

In 1996, while working for Editions Atlas, Mr. LeFloc’h decided to cross over the Atlantic and establish himself in Florida. In conjunction with a colleague, he quickly founded Cannelle Foods—a food distribution company that principally supplies French food products. Today, the brand name is well known in South Florida, and for good reason, as the firm is rapidly becoming the principal supplier for chefs in the region, but also as the “go-to” source for local food gourmets that do not hesitate in going to the company’s local premises in order to find a long coveted cheese or foie gras—in addition to, of course, submitting orders online. On Saturday, May 4th 2013, for his daily endeavours in promoting French productions in the United States, Jean-Michel LeFloc’h presently received the honor of Knight in the National Order of Agricultural Merit.

In the presence of his friends and close ones, hosted at the residence of the Consul in Miami, Mr. Jean-Michel LeFloc’h, Director and Founder of Canelle Foods—a distribution company for French and European food products—received the honor of Knight in the National Order of Agricultural Merit –Saturday, May 4th 2013.
